Jamcafe
Jamcafe (leaving out a space between the words, because that's much
more hip) is a trendy little cafe tucked away down one of the side
streets in Hockley. It has the feel of a European bistro, with small
tables for lunch, a cosy sofa section and a relaxed atmosphere. The
staff are friendly and the food they serve is a delicious range of
English and French dishes. It's not too pricey either, students.
Despite the small space local bands and DJs often play, and the cafe
holds open mic nights where folks can just turn and up and jam. We
wonder where they could possibly have got the name from?
