Hogs Head

After a hard morning's shop, we decided to go for a cheeky pint in the Hog's Head. It's a chilled out place that has an authentic 'pub' vibe, with stone floors and wooden beams. Footy is shown regularly on the TVs, but the clientele isn't just lager swigging lads; women, students, old folks and kids are all welcome. Hog's also serves tasty food that can be enjoyed while relaxing on the sofas or sat chin-wagging round a table. The drinks are fairly cheap (which is great for us poor students), but there isn't exactly a thrilling range of real ales, so the ale connoisseur might want to try elsewhere.
