Cafe Nomad
This bohemian refuge, which boasts a humble spot amid the rolling hills of Nottingham's Hucknall road, does in layman's terms exactly what it says on the tin. Wholesome, Morrocan-esque vegetarian fare is prepared and presented by a free spirited maverick with a generous side portion of hospitality, all at a reasonable price. Café Nomad is not like one of those overpriced, pretentious places that are desperately trying to be some sort of hippie hideaway, but simply is, right from the rustic wall hangings down to the mushroom paté. The food is delicious, with new specials added every day and the exotic yet tasteful atmosphere makes it an ideal place for both the serious diner and liberal yippie alike.
