Las Iguanas
Sticklers for authenticity should ensure their conception of Latin food is temporarily warped before commencing a visit to Las Iguanas. (Cheese? The most popular ingredient of a South American diet? Sometimes, truly, Itchy despairs.) Getting sozzled on the generic two-for-one cocktails can deaden the pain of naff décor, a confusingly complicated menu and poor service. But you'll have to really chug 'em down to beat off the blues; the only Latin zest at this place must be manufactured by the patrons – though the wallet-evisceration is at least reminiscent of Rio.
