The Co-operative
Co-op is the convenience shop extraordinaire for cash-happy students fancying a bit of wine, or pizza, or vodka, or beer, or chocolate, or ciggies, or cereal. They do sell fruit and veg though, should you dare to walk on the wild side. Within close proximity to student digs, it's easy to become sucked into the daily routine: get up, don pyjamas, rack brains for unnecessary purchase, trudge down the road in slippers and someone else's hoody, spend about £40, come home. Who needs a budget and a weekly food shop when you've got overpriced, limited basics and staff behind bullet-proof glass, two minutes away?
