Bluu
An exemplary illustration of the modern brasserie, Bluu excites those who eat here with some quite splendid food and some trim tunes. It describes itself as a 'seedy retro-funk' bar, which is ambiguous and meaningless as ever, but you can sort of get the picture on entry (apart from the seedy bit). A blending of smart bar and restaurant keeps the atmosphere lively, which for the subdued diners might not be kosher but for those who like whooping after a few wines merely lubricates the night's mischief.
