Bar Eleven
One of Nottingham's most popular late bars, Bar Eleven's thin long interior is reminiscent of 'the gauntlet' in Gladiators. One must plough through the rich and gorgeous to attain the comfortable, and to some extent, glorious, soft cosy couches at the end. With a vast selection of spirits and interesting bottle beer, it's a good place to get stuck in. Though beware that it's the sort of place where money disappears fast. Our only gripe lies in that on occasion the music is played at the 'ridiculously loud' level, quashing any hopes of kissing strangers.
