Tonic

Tonic seems to pride itself on its 'swivel armchairs' and, although Itchy would normally ignore such pomp, when you're faced with trying to operate one of the damn things, you can't say they didn't warn you. The modern British food is unquestionably good, and the prices are fair. It's plush, though you can't help but feel pretension is the drive – with satin-shirted clientele and poodles in waistcoats to confirm. Nevertheless, your meal will be top-notch, supplemented with post-meal amusement of swivel chair catastrophes.
