Nags Head
Good local feel pub with a beer garden and decent offers on wine and cocktails and a daily wine tasting slot from 4pm7pm, which, at £5.95 a bottle, is more of a wine glugging. Avoid the food though, the Sunday lunch we had was enough to make us nostalgic for our school dinners (and we're not talking of the Jamie Oliver variety). There's a load of board games in case the people you're with aren't worth talking to (and who needs to talk when you can destroy a relationship over a 'friendly' game of Snakes and Ladders?), and enough TV screens to keep any football fan happy.
