The Canalhouse
On the ever-popular south circuit of the city along the canal is, (un)surprisingly enough, The Canal House. Lodged between Fellows and Via Fossa and like them, it has a large outdoor seating area. Unlike them, because it used to be a canal warehouse, there's a narrow boat inside and the canal runs through it, or into it at least. If you were Robert Redford and hailed from this shire, you could probably create a gooey film about it. Well, if not gooey, slimy, cos that's what the canal water's like as it stagnates under the pub's bridge. Yeah, it sounds like a nice idea, but it really isn't.
