Wax Café Bar
The people who work here and the people who drink here call this independent little bar, 'Nottingham's hidden gem', so don't tell them we've included it here. There's something on every evening, but we have to admit our favourites are Café Scientique Mondays (come along and be amazed) and Saturdays with DJs, like Badboy Edwin playing Northern Soul and Motown on old vinyl. Although Wax Bar is conveniently situated for bar hopping in the Hockley area, we guarantee that if you do hop away from here and on to Revolution and the like, you'll drink to regret it.
