Bunkers Hill Inn
Best avoided when there's a popular beat combo playing at the ice stadium up the road (unless you want to drink to the sound of screaming kiddies). The rest of the time it's a bit calmer here, apart from Wednesdays when the lean and mean stampede in for the bargain £3.50 curry night. They usually get a good crowd at the Sunday night quiz, not because of particularly challenging questions or generous prizes, but because it's accompanied by a plateful of their famous bubble and squeak.
