Casa (now called The Approach, needs new review)

As popular now as when it re-launched under its new name and ownership two years ago, Approach is now attracting even more music followers, weekend party people (and nutters) following the opening of its 300 capacity basement late last year. Head down Monday if you want to take to the stage yourself or Tuesday and Wednesday if you like Indie, otherwise make it Friday (and be prepared to queue) for Roy De Wired and other acts, reputedly he's the city's most popular live performer. Approach also screens the big matches, and what can we say apart from it doesn't get quite as rowdy as other live sports venues, so little danger of getting into a scrap with supporters of the opposition!
