Ye Olde Salutation Inn
For a more chilling way to start your Saturday evening, head to the Sal for their 'original' ghost walk. We had the privilege of entering the haunted caverns beneath the Inn, and hearing the story of little Rosie, a five-year-old ghost girl who roams there, had us stumbling over our own shadow as we scrambled for the door. Though on second thoughts, that may have been the beer starting to work its magic. The metal nights at weekends are enough to wake the dead, and we've no idea what Rosie's mum would have to say about that.
