The Malt Cross

There aren't many city centre pubs that spend most of the week unprotected by the usual leering cueball bouncers. The Malt Cross's underworked security guard only rocks up on a Saturday night, in time for 'Enjoy the Ride', a weekly audio-visual smorgasbord that draws a crowd of the interesting and the interested. You might well catch these same folk at the bar's 'Acoustic Tuesdays' (along with Itchy too, as we're big fans). With its mix of inspiring architecture, a fine lunch menu and eclectic nocturnal happenings, it ain't easy to stay away.
