Le Mistral

Itchy would usually be cautious about eating in any establishment associated with back passages, but in the case of this intimate, understated French café, the fact that it's tucked away off the main street and far from the madding crowd is definitely a grand thing. Less popular than its sister restaurant in Sherwood due to being hidden, but absolutely no less great, Le Mistral is admittedly pricey yet couldn't be more worth it if it was sponsored by L'Oréal. Book early to get a table in the corner and let the mellow music seduce your date on your behalf.
