The Irish Centre

The Irish isn't going to win any style awards. Looking somewhere between a run down parish church hall and a working men's club, there are precarious-looking seats around the outside, presumably to collapse onto when you've finished dancing on the tables in the middle. Your co-dancers definitely won't be followers of high-street fashion, but the eclectic outfits and dance moves will keep you entertained for hours. The music is made up of mainstream classics, anywhere from the 60s onwards. With cheap drinks (and punters) it's a school disco for the older generation, and it's great.
