Gusto Food

Just beyond Hockley on the edge of Sneinton Market, Gusto has transformed Fyffes' old banana warehouse into an eat-in café. It's not particularly comfortable but you won't give a monkey's 'cos the food's amazing. So amazing, in fact, that if you eat in, you'll rush to their adjoining deli to buy some choice items for your larder. Serves pizza/pasta type dishes throughout the day and a mean fillet steak, but closes at 8pm. Be warned, though, it gets really busy on evenings of performances at the ice-rink, and beware of wheel clampers round the privately-owned parking bays.
