Five Rivers

Tucked away in a quiet corner of West Bridgford, this fairly new restaurant is dubbed as fusion, but is actually heavily Indian-based. The food's a taste sensation, the portions are well-sized, plus the tasteful décor and quiet atmosphere make it perfect for an intimate meal. It's not cheap though, so try to make sure you're not footing the bill. They do a good takeaway menu, but that's also fairly pricey. Still, when you've got a date you need to wow with your culinary skills you won't mind the extra expense. Until you have to repeat the feat, of course.
