Victoria Centre
The good old Viccy Centre has been delighting shoppers since 1972 and is popping at the seams with a crowd-pleasing range of high-street favourites. Its popularity makes navigating it on Saturdays not unlike trying to run a monster truck demolition derby in a Fiat Punto. There's a strange mechanical clock that chimes to mark out every hour frittered away on consumerism, and as well as being a good meeting point, it's also Nottingham's highest building and taller than the Leaning Tower of Pisa. We can't imagine why it's not as famous.
