Pitcher & Piano
Part of the national chain, and almost certainly the most impressive link. This converted church is genuinely stunning and really has to be seen. The not insignificant investment has been rewarded as the crowds have flocked in. If the good Lord's still looking down, he clearly likes what he sees. The success of The Pitcher and Piano was the catalyst for the numerous new venue developments in the High Pavement/Weekday Cross area, but despite the new competition it remains as popular as ever. Chilled vibe during the day and lively atmosphere in the evenings despite the cavernous proportions. If you haven't been yet you probably should, if you have, I'm probably preaching to the converted. Special food menu changes every fortnight.
