Pizza Express
Despite being part of a national chain you can usually expect Pizza Express restaurants to have a bit of character and individuality, and the two Nottingham outlets don't disappoint. The longer established King Street restaurant is not surprisingly the slightly more traditional of the two, with the Goose Gate one more modern, and particularly cool when they open up the front and allow you to watch Hockley pass by. The other thing you can expect from pizza express is good pizzas cooked properly i.e. thin based with traditional toppings, rather than those abysmal deep pan cheese on toast abominations.
