Blue Note
The old Beatroot that used to sit on this site was a venue that never really seemed sure what it wanted o be. The Blue Note, as it is now known, was set to re–open shortly after we went to print so I can't commit too much of an opinion on the direction it's now heading. Sorry folks – but make use of the notice board to give me some idea –. Some early press information suggest the club is going to have more dance music related emphasis, but it remains to be seen if it will compete with the late bar competetion in the vicinity more successfully than the Beatroot managed to in the last few years.
