Theatre Royal
Right in the centre of town, the Theatre Royal has thespy delights from high-brow drama to all-singing, all-dancing, good ol' fashioned 'oom pah-pah'. The tall, elegant, Victorian-style auditorium boasts just about everything that tours the UK and does so at a price everyone can afford (balcony seats start at around a tenner). The only thing you cannot afford is to go to the bar when you're pushed for time, but if high quality entertainment and ushers that'll charm your socks off are what you're after, then go have your razzle-dazzled.
