If you've been to Oxford, Cardiff and Birmingham and are comedically astute, you may have noticed a venue called 'The Glee Club'. Well, luckily, they realized that Nottingham deserves one and it opens it's doors on Wednesday 15 September 2010 with comedians you have actually probably heard of.

Line-up

Rich Hall (Sept 15)
Reminds us of Moe from The Simpsons

Shappi Khorsandi (Sept 16)
You will most likely get tickets for this one...

Gina Yashere (Sept 17/18)
Apparently making 'big waves in the US', a bit offensive considering she is on the larger side. You'll probably recognize her, and not really care that you haven't seen her recently.

Andy Parsons (Sept 18)
The unfunny one from 'Mock the Week'

Andrew Maxwell (Sept 17)
Funny Irishman.

Mike Wilmot (Sept 17/18)
We're not sure either. He's Canadian, if that helps.

Kevin Bridges (Sept 23)
Not Jeff Bridges, Kevin. Scottish.

This, on the whole, is a good run of comedians on offer at a quality venue.
